Sinopse:
Colocar o corpo diante da lente fotográfica para fazer um ensaio de si instiga o voyeurismo subversivo do próprio olhar. Os tecidos se afastam do lugar-comum e ritualístico para revelar a pele que provoca mistérios e movimentos, e acolhe delírios da sensibilidade de imagens que tomam valoração de obra de arte.
Qualquer corpo é uma pele suscetível a ataques, bombas, violências, incêndios e à objetificação; mas o apelo fotográfico genuinamente pensa no díptico desejo-prazer.
Se existe algum objeto no processo criativo, é o fotolivro, no qual o deslocamento enfatiza o convite performático e interativo do outro em colaborar com possíveis “trocas de imagens”: uma nova narrativa.
Além disso, a valoração da obra culminou na materialização do fetiche de Vanderléa Cardoso.
Há um interesse pulsante não apenas nas dobras que articulam a dança do dorso de cima e debaixo dos registros da artista, mas também na possibilidade visual e gráfica da capa de despertar o desejo orgânico, formado pela textura suscetível entre camadas e quereres.
Synopsis:
Placing the body before the photographic lens to create a self-portrait essay provokes a subversive voyeurism of one’s own gaze. Fabrics move away from the commonplace and the ritualistic to reveal skin that evokes mystery and movement, and embraces the delirium of a sensibility through images that take on the value of artworks.
Any body is a skin susceptible to attacks, bombs, violence, fires, and objectification; yet the photographic appeal genuinely reflects on the dyad of desire and pleasure.
If there is any object in the creative process, it is the photobook, in which displacement emphasizes the performative and interactive invitation for the viewer to collaborate in possible “image exchanges”: a new narrative. Moreover, the valuation of the work culminates in the materialization of Vanderléa Cardoso’s fetish.
There is a pulsating interest not only in the folds that articulate the dance of the back—above and below the artist’s records—but also in the visual and graphic potential of the cover to awaken an organic desire, shaped by the texture that exists between layers and longings.
